Revirado Project Germany 2025 brought Enrique Thompson’s acclaimed tango-jazz ensemble to three culturally significant cities in the German state of Thuringia during the summer of 2025.
As part of the wider Revirado Project Europe Tour 2025, the ensemble performed in Weimar on July 23, Jena at Der Strand on July 26, and Apolda at Kunsthaus Apolda Avantgarde on August 2. These concerts introduced audiences to Revirado Project’s distinctive blend of Argentine musical traditions, contemporary jazz and improvisation, a sound that has earned growing recognition throughout Europe.
The performances took place in cities renowned for their artistic heritage and vibrant cultural life. Weimar, home to Goethe, Schiller and the Bauhaus movement, provided a historic setting for the tour’s German opening. Jena and Apolda further expanded the project’s reach, connecting with local audiences and strengthening cultural exchange through live music.

The Revirado Project Germany 2025 concerts reinforced the ensemble’s longstanding relationship with the Central European music scene and demonstrated the international appeal of its tango-jazz fusion approach. Through performances, artistic collaborations and audience engagement, the project continues to build bridges between Latin American and European musical traditions.
Led by saxophonist, composer and producer Enrique Thompson, Revirado Project remains one of the most active international ensembles emerging from the Canary Islands, performing regularly across Europe while developing new artistic collaborations and intercultural projects.
