Enrique Thompson & Revirado Project completed a landmark tour across Patagonia, Argentina, combining live performances, educational activities and collaborations with local musicians.
Organised with the support of Vientos al Sur and the Patagonia Big Band—the first big band established in Argentine Patagonia—the tour strengthened artistic connections between the Canary Islands, Europe and Argentina through a programme celebrating jazz, tango and cultural exchange.
Alongside the concert series, Enrique Thompson was invited by the Instituto Universitario Patagónico de Artes (IUPA) to lead workshops, sharing his artistic approach with students and emerging musicians. These educational activities complemented the concerts and reflected the project’s commitment to artistic development and international collaboration.
Concerts took place at:
- Italia Unida — General Roca
- Araca Teatro — Neuquén
- La Casa de La Bodega — Cipolletti
For this special tour, Revirado Project presented a unique Patagonian edition of the ensemble, featuring outstanding local musicians:
- Guillermo Vera
- Jesús Fernández
- Andrés Fuhr
- Mauricio Constanzo
The Patagonia Tour received extensive media coverage throughout Argentina, including features by Diario Río Negro, Revista El Walkman, LatamNoticias, Radio Universidad San Luis and Palermo Online, highlighting both the concerts and the educational activities.
The tour represents another important milestone in the international development of Enrique Thompson Music, bringing together performance, education and collaboration while continuing to build bridges between Argentine musical traditions and contemporary jazz.
