Enrique Thompson & Revirado Project performed to a sold-out audience at Jazz Café CajaCanarias 2026, held on 13 May 2026 at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Invited by Fundación CajaCanarias, the ensemble presented an evening dedicated to the dialogue between Argentine tango, contemporary jazz and original compositions, performing before a full house with all tickets sold out prior to the concert.
The quintet featured:
- Enrique Thompson — saxophone
- Christoph Mallinger — violin
- Daniel Schwarzwald — piano
- Tana Santana — double bass
- Ancor Miranda — drums
Throughout the concert, the ensemble explored the expressive possibilities between tradition and improvisation, combining Argentine musical heritage with contemporary jazz language in one of Tenerife’s leading cultural venues.
The invitation by Fundación CajaCanarias and the sold-out response from the audience further reinforce Revirado Project’s growing presence within Spain’s cultural circuit and its continued artistic activity throughout the Canary Islands and Europe.
