The prestigious US jazz publication All About Jazz published a four-star review of Revirado Project’s latest album Song for Someone / Canción para Alguien, released on Artruism Records.
The review describes the ensemble as “a captivating group that masterfully blends the passionate rhythms of tango with the improvisational freedom of jazz, creating a unique and exhilarating fusion.”
The album features an international all-star lineup and was praised as “a well-crafted, expressive record that balances virtuosity with warmth, tradition and innovation.” The saxophone takes centre stage replacing the traditional bandoneón, supported by lush piano harmonies and the rhythmic drive of double bass.
