Fuerteventura – Diciembre 2025
Ruta del Jazz Fuerteventura 2025 marked the third edition of the cultural circuit founded by saxophonist, composer and producer Enrique Thompson, bringing together jazz, cultural tourism and unique venues across the Canary Islands.
Since its launch in 2023, Ruta del Jazz has developed into a multidisciplinary cultural platform connecting concert halls, public spaces, educational institutions and rural environments through live jazz performances, workshops and educational activities.
The 2025 edition expanded its reach across Fuerteventura with a programme that included concerts, masterclasses, educational activities and interdisciplinary collaborations, creating opportunities for audiences of all ages to experience jazz in both traditional and unconventional settings.
One of the defining characteristics of Ruta del Jazz Fuerteventura 2025 is its ability to connect culture, territory and community. By presenting artistic activities throughout the island, the project promotes access to high-quality cultural experiences while supporting local venues, institutions and cultural partners.
Founded by Enrique Thompson, Ruta del Jazz continues to strengthen the position of the Canary Islands as an emerging destination for international jazz programming and cultural tourism, creating meaningful exchanges between local communities, visiting artists and audiences from around the world.
As the project enters its third edition, Ruta del Jazz has established itself as one of the most distinctive jazz initiatives in the archipelago, combining artistic excellence, education and cultural development through music.
